From one kinder teacher to another

Hi, I'm Amy!

As a former kindergarten and special education teacher, I totally get the struggles of classroom management. Like many teachers, I started using a behavior clip chart…and it just didn’t work.  Negative behaviors started to slowly take over the classroom and I wasn’t sure what to do to get everything under control. (I’m sure you’ve been there.)

Kindergarten felt like I was alone on an island and no one could really relate.  I needed easy tools to use but where could I find them?  They were nowhere to be found.

So, I started making my own. 

I’ll never forget what happened after I introduced our first Build-a-Reward chart (the gingerbread man) and suddenly kids stopped tattling on each other and started watching for kids being good. 

I knew I was onto something.

Now, with 12 years of teaching under my belt, I’m on a mission to create quality, time-saving resources for busy teachers just like you! I created The Kindergarten Management Toolbox because I know just how frustrating it is to not have the resources you need. And if we’re being honest, you don’t have time to find them either.

I want to help you make your classroom fun, and stress-free, so you can calm the chaos and feel in control – without it consuming all your time.
